This will be my last contribution to the newsletter for this year.
Well, what a financial year it has been!
COVID-19 over the past 5 months or so has seen restrictions placed on our sport which have been, until now, unheard of and unfortunately is still having implications on our sport. Prior to CV-19 our Club was shut down due to the Tasman fires and the emergency services depot being directly opposite our facility closing our road off to the public, however, the good news is that we are back up and running.
Even though we are back and running there have been cancellations of some great events owing to the CV-19 Pandemic and resulting in our South Island Group E meetings becoming almost non existent at this time until the Southern Series and then the Islands at Labour Weekend.
Our club days are now all back up and running and we have our Ferris Trophy Night Meeting on 29th August and JRGP on 7th/8th November, with our normal club days in between, so there will be some really some great racing to look forward to between now and Xmas.
We have seen some great improvements to our club grounds over these last few weeks with a new automatic gate almost installed, a brand new fence on our club frontage and new underground power to our main gate.
A big thank you to all those that have attended our recent working bees to enable us to progress with our facility upgrades.
I look forward to seeing you all at the Club's AGM at 7pm on Wednesday 5th August.
AGM Meeting 5th August

A huge thank you to the current committee and looking forward to the 2020/21 Year.
