Minute Silence in remembrance of V8 supercar Legend
In the first points meeting for the New Year at “Classic Hits Kartsport Nelson Raceway”, V8 supercar legend Jason Richards was remembered with a minutes silence and a memorial photo to remember the driving great. Jason Richards driving career started off humbly at aged 8 in Nelson he moved from karting after 8 years and 35 championship Titles, he would be a regular visitor and driver to the Nelson track, JR’s presence at the track will be missed in the future, but he will always be remembered.
It was a great day’s racing with a strong turnout especially in the rotax classes; there were light winds and high humidity making it a very hot day for all the drivers.
