WELCOME
KartSport Nelson owns
and operates the 630m
track at Redwood Valley
on the Moutere Highway
near Nelson. The track
currently has a 'B'
rating from KartSport NZ
who control the safe and
fair operation of all
track kart racing in New
Zealand.
The 2010 National
Schools Championships
are being held here in
July and numerous
renovations and upgrades
are underway in
readiness for that
event.
The Club is registered
as an Incorporated
Society and run
by an elected Committe.
Membership is required
to race (although a
limited number of
day-licenses are
available)
and Social
membership for
family/non-racers is
available. The
Club's
Constitution is
available here.
The AGM is usually in
Aug/Sep and can be seen
in the
calendar of events.
This year, it is on 31st
August.
If you are not already a
racer, please feel free
to come out
and watch (see our
calendar above). There
is no charge
for admission and you
may meet and chat with
most of the
kart racers on the day.
