Before proceeding onto the track, ensure that you are correctly clothed and your kart is up to the required standards.

Social                       $ 60.00
Junior                       $100.00
Senior                       $175.00

Discounts apply if paid within one month.

Club Day Race Times
Unless otherwise advertised the following program will apply to normal club days.  If you do not have a current KartSport New Zealand Licence you must apply for a “one day licence” for the day

  9.30am   Gates Open
10.00am    Scrutineering starts

You will need for Scrtineering:               
* Your Kart “Ready to Race”
* Club Membership
* KartSport New Zealand Licence
* Race Gear (helmet, race suit, gloves)
*  Entry Fee

11.00am                    Scrutineering Finishes
11.10am                    Drivers Briefing
11.15am                    Practise in Race Order
12.00 noon               Racing
  4.00pm                   Racing Finishes
  4.10pm                    Social at ClubRooms.

Practice Days

USING THE TRACK OUTSIDE THESE TIMES IS NOT ALLOWED.

Cycle Club
If the cycle club is having a meeting or using the club rooms, you must contact the convener of their meeting before using the track.  If it is not appropriate,

PLEASE DO NOT USE THE TRACK.

* All karts must travel the circuit in the same direction

* Drivers must be correctly clothed at all times including practice.
Consisting of approved helmet, gloves, footwear and race suit.

* Karts may only leave or enter the pits via the correct exit and entry points.

* Driving into the pit area via the pit chute is not acceptable.
Damage to the load cells on the weighing area has resulted from the above.
The club will speak to drivers seen doing this and if your actions result in damage to the scales you will face repair costs.

* Drivers must indicate with a hand signal that they are pulling of f the racing circuit.

* Karts are to be pulled well clear of the circuit if a breakdown occurs.

* Karts are not to be worked on or repaired on the track.

* Karters must make themselves conversant with the rules governing karting.

* Karts must display race numbers at all times.

* Novice Karters, in all classes must display a clearly visible "X" in place of the kart number.

* Karts making excessive noise will be black-flagged off the track.

* Karters are responsible for the actions of their pit crew.

* Refuelling on the track or pit grid is not acceptable.

* Karts may not be driven without a second person being present at the track.

* Non-members may only use the track when a senior member is present.

* Presentation of a current membership card may be requested at any time.

* Driving a kart in the pit area is not permitted.

* Gate keys remain the property of KartSport Nelson and shall be returned upon request or when membership ceases.

* Animals must be kept under strict control at all times.

* KartSport Nelson cannot be held responsible for any injury to persons or damage to equipment.

* NO SMOKING AREA – The Pits and Club Rooms are designated “No Smoking” Areas

* Pit Shelters – Unused Pit Shelters may be Hired at $10.00 if available after 10:00 am on designated Practice and Race Days.

* Vehicles in PITS – On designated Practice and Race Days No Road Vehicles to be in Pit Area until the last official race has been completed

Damage
Please report any damage that occurs to the clubs property to a member of the committee.  If fences are found to be damaged on race day, racing will be held up until repairs are completed.

Socially
After racing has finished the bar in club house will be open, you are all welcome to come and socialise with other club members and reflect on a great days racing at a best club in the South Island.
